Joe was a very upstanding person, he was not afraid to speak his mind,
he was a regimental person and always donated to the KOYLI Assn from any profits he made from his '
Battlefield Pilgrimage' trips to France

He will be sorely missed by us all

Malcom Moore (Crowie) rang me last night, I had been away on holidays, that is why no-one could contact me.
During our conversation, he told me of the passing of Joe Street, at which I was indeed shocked to hear. Joe was a fine upstanding bloke, a gentleman, who when it was necessary, shot straight from the hip, he will be sadly missed by all of those who knew him in a personal light, and by those who came into contact with him as a fine soldier, and mate. it was a pleasure having known and served with him.

Please pass on our deepest condolences to his Family.
Alec & Barbara Skelson
