Joe was a very upstanding person, he was not afraid to speak his
mind,
he was a regimental person and always donated to the KOYLI Assn
from any profits he made from his
'Battlefield Pilgrimage'
trips
to France
He will be sorely missed by us all

Malcom Moore (Crowie) rang me last night,
I had been away on holidays, that is why no-one could contact me.
During our conversation, he told me of the passing of Joe Street,
at which I was indeed shocked to hear. Joe was a fine upstanding
bloke, a gentleman, who when it was necessary, shot straight from
the hip, he will be sadly missed by all of those who knew him in a
personal light, and by those who came into contact with him as a
fine soldier, and mate. it was a pleasure having known and served
with him.
Please pass on our deepest condolences to his Family.
