Les :-
Peter Bousefield KOYLI 2 LI (ex A Coy) was a close friend of Jeff, he sent me this image of the christma card that jeff sent him for 2008.

Larger images can be found here
This is what Peter said :
Hi Les
Jeff had been into painting for about three years, and sent Xmas cards of his paintings. This year, Jeff sent the attached card, which is a print of one of his oil paintings based upon a an original by Basil Eide, perhaps it may be a good idea to have it as his farewell offering.
If you want it scanned at a lower resolution, please let me know.
Peter

Hi
Really sad news about one of our friends from the regiment

Message from Peter Bousfield KOYLI 2LI
I regret to have to inform you that Jeff Bryan died on Saturday evening of liver failure. I understand the funeral will be on 30th December and I will post more information as soon as possible.
As many of you know, Jeff had been paralysed since 1971, since then, despite his disabilities he remained cheerful and particulary enjoyed the time he spent on sailing ships.
I understand the funeral will be on the 30th December and as soon as I have more information I will let you all know
Here is the update on the FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS
It was Jeff’s wish that he be buried with his brother in the Churchyard at Hemsworth.
The cortege will leave the Chapel of Rest at 11.30 on Tuesday 30th December for the service at Hemsworth Parish Church at 11.45, to be followed by burial at Hemsworth Chruchyard.
I am sure as many as possible will wish to pay their last respects to Jeff and support his family on this sad occasion.
As a post-script, the people of Sutterton, where Jeff lived for about 30 years, will be holding a memorial service in Jeff’s honour at the beginning of February. They have asked me to extend a welcome to any of his KOYLI/2LI friends who may wish to share their memories and once I will publish the details as soon as they are known.
Thank you.
