Memories
Arthur Chadwick I remember from way back in
Hilden in 1959, Not long after I had joined the regiment there
Every week there would be a 6 mile cross country run, I was not a
particular good runner, but with my mate Pete Bate we ran together
never coming in the first or the 10 th, But there was every week
someone who stood at the gate with a stop watch, Waiting to take
the finishing time of Arthur as he crossed the line, FIRST.
He was a very nice man

Chad was one in a million thats how many mugs of
tea I had to
make for him.
Didn't matter where we were, At any opportunity 'Come on Tiger do
a brew' My memories of Chad are only good
ones.
